a lot of firsts this week

First TEA PARTY

Tea anyone ?  Adrien was invited to a super cute tea party for his friend Isabel's birthday.  He  had a blast and loved playing with his buddy Garret.

they all had fun and it was so well decorated and thought out !  a very nice time with our friends.

Stella spent her first night in her bed  & bedroom upstairs all by herself :) YAY for our sweet big girl !!
She seems to love being in her room, she smiles when she gets in and smiles when I go get her.  she still wakes up twice a night but it is getting better !  Good job Stella Bella !!

 We had our FIRST BBQ outside of the year !  We've been eating clean at home and served the burgers with watermelon, strawberries and carrots (and adrien had a few snap crisp peas)

Papa is back home !! YAY ! Adrien and Stella were so excited :) 

three's company :)

Adrien, Stella and I had a fun weekend together !  I could have easily gone to bed with them at 7:30pm on Sunday night :) It was so worth it.  Adrien gave me a big hug at bedtime and thanked me for having such a great time.  It made me feel so good ! 

On Saturday morning I did my usual run with the double stroller.  I usually run to the park , run a few rounds and run back home.  This time Adrien asked if he could run with me at the park, so I let him.  He surprised me by going all around Stovall by my side (I slowed down a bit :) ) He ran 1 mile !  He was so happy, laughing, breathing in/out, and greeting everyone he met with a cheerful:"good morning" .  It was really cute ! 

We also got to see horses, butterflies, and a little rabbit on the way.  Adrien thought it was so much fun !   Stella was sound asleep , I got a great run so all in all it was an awesome morning.  As soon as we came home, Adrien had to skype with his papa and papy & mamie to tell them all about it. 

On Sunday morning we all went to the zoo and had a picnic there.  Adrien is fascinated by animals and surprised me with all the facts he knows about animals, what they eat, where they live.  Stella really enjoyed looking at the animals. Adrien got to do the wall climbing and went a little higher than last time.  

The big test of the day was taking the little train inside the zoo.  Adrien was hoping Stella would like it because he wants her to take the FW mini train with him.  He got so proud of his little sister when he saw she liked it too.  It was sweet !

what they're up to these days

On Thursday we had the BEST surprise for lunch.  Debi, garrett and gus were supposed to come for a little playdate and Lisa, Marissa and Elizabeth surprised us by coming over as well ! They brought over wine and all sorts of delicious things for lunch and we all got to hang out !! I had missed that so much and because of Stella's unregular nap schedule and ETB I had not been able to see them the past few weeks so it was just PERFECT!!!!! Adrien took the picture :)   Thank you so much for this wonderful surprise!! I felt so loved and it was a perfect boost to my week !!!!  You are all so sweet!

Gus was so sweet with Stella, he gave her a dinosaur and showed her how to play the keyboard :)

 this is how I found her when I came back - she was trying to get that blue cube, and was all proud of herself when I saw her there :)  Adrien thought that was really cool, he said he needs to teach her how to crawl now ;) Super big brother to the rescue:)

 Stella is getting so big - she had her 6 months check up  on Wed.  She weighs 14.10 pounds and measures 27 inches.  her favorite lunch is avocado banana and she loves apple & cereal.  Stella 's favorite toys are all musical or teething toys :) , she loves sophie la giraffe.  She lights up when she sees Adrien or Duff and squeals of delight.  she basically communicates with smiles and grunts but rarely cries.  She loves to observe everything.  She can sit down by herself and is super flexible, still enjoys eating her feet and loves when we dance together.  She is very affectionate and gives me a big hug whenever I pick her up in my arms.  She puts her little neck on my shoulders and squeezes with her little arms= there's nothing sweeter :)  We love you Stella Bella !!!

 Adrien is four and a super duper big brother.  If I need his help , he likes to answer:" sure maman, super big brother on the job"   He loves to dance, exercise , make jokes, and karate.  His favorite toys are sea creatures, workers, playing with his playmobils and legos.  He can invent stories for hours !
He loves his baby sister and is very kind to her.  He likes to feed her, play with her, read her stories and put on little dancing muppet shows for her.   His favorite thing to do after school is to run around the house playing fetch with Duff.  He loves school and his buddies, and is starting to enjoy working (writing, tracing...) .  He is very enthusiastic and super chatty :)  We love you so much little sunshine Adrien :)

 I took Adrien and Stella to Toys R us on Saturday and let them pick out a new toy.  Stella saw My first Pal and started smiling when I pressed a button then she wanted to hug it - I figured that's her way of choosing it :)

 Adrien knew xactly what he wanted an animal jungle vet set with doctors, rhinos and a medical truck :) He is always inventing stories of how he rescues animals and loves telling me facts about animals.
