new project , paint and sibling love :)

 stella loves self feeding and she could eat her weight in blueberries , and raspberries :)

 Christophe has a new remodeling project: the dining room.   We are all excited !  in the next few weeks he will be repainting the dining room (he actually did that this past weekend), laying down tile (next weekend), putting up a bamboo wall, and getting new dining room table  .... :)

 Adrien is always so eager and happy to help, he did a great job painting the windows :)

  Adrien just love to play around with her and make her laugh.  He was making her chase him with the car and Stella just LOVED it.

 Our new backyard ... one foot longer :) Christophe laid down the sod (I actually helped this time when the kids were asleep- it's hard work)

 We chose a very light color for the wall  "salt glaze" - carpet was torn out (YAY ) check out next week to see the new tile we picked out :)

 My sweet artist , Adrien decided to make a few paintings for his papy's birthday and his aunt Lara's birthday :)

 and Stella discovered Adrien's old walker and was so excited to use it !

I was busy taking the garbage out on the curb this morning, and my neighbor came out to chat a little, so it took a little longer  ... when I came back I found Adrien talking sweetly to Stella in her room.  She had been crying so super big brother came to cheer her up.  I love that he is so attentive with her and love that Stella just lights up when she sees her brother.  It just makes me feel so good !!

Adrien is getting interested in writing numbers and letters - YAY !  

 Stella loves to play with the little kitchenette, and Duff is always close to her :)

 Adrien loves to play with Stella and show her how things work.  He is a great big brother !

 Those two love to be together - it's very cute to see them laugh together- Adrien was playing peekaboo with Stella or "Keep a boo" as he calls it :)

 At dinner time, Adrien discovered that making a monkey sound made Stella laugh pretty hard so he became a little monkey :)

 Stella loves to feed herself during meals, she loves blueberries, steamed carrots, strawberries, and I think it;s pretty cute that ends up with food all over her hair, chest , cheeks and hands :)

 I might have two little monkeys on my hands :)

 This weekend we enjoyed having our good friends the Smith family over for a little swimming and BBQ.  The boys Patrick, Carter and Adrien have always played well together but it was cute to see the girls Kathryn and Stella smile to each other.  I bet they will become great friends too !

We had such a relaxing time together last week and enjoyed being with Christophe!

We had never gotten around to celebrating our anniversary in May, so we made plans to celebrate it during christophe 's break.  We actually got to go out on several dates and it was so nice !!

 We had a wonderful night at the melting pot, the food was delicious and we had so much fun !

 I had chocolate for the first time since February... each bite was pure delight !

not much was left as you can tell ;)

 having breakfast outside - the storms got the temperature to drop and we were able to enjoy being outside, plus chris cleaned out the whole patio  :)
