a few pics of MAY

We've had a lot of fun times with our friends the last few weeks.  I forget my camera a lot these days ;) (oops) so I don't have a lot of photos but here are a few : 

 Our big boy got his 2nd haircut :) Woot woot !! Thank you Andrea !  we love it !

 We had the Donaho's over and Adrien was eager to help change gus.  Debi was really patient and sweet and put him in charge of the wipes ;) Adrien has really been paying more attention to all the babies around us.

 Playing with Garret around the pool- the boys were busy at work ! not too sure what they were up to but they had fun !

 Adrien went to visit Jake , Brady and Sammy (the dog) one afternoon and they had a great time playing in the sprinklers and jumping on the trampoline.  Amber and I realized we have same taste in bathing suits...both Jake and Adrien were sporting the exact same swim shorts and top :) they looked like brothers :)

 The boys were trying to figure out how the sprinkler worked .... Adrien stands with his hands on his hips when he's thinking (Christophe does that as well :) too cute )

 Adrien was invited to a fun birthday party for Oliver's 2nd birthday.  The bounce house and the handy manny theme was a blast !  Plus it was nice to hang out with our friends :

 Adrien had fun celebrating the last day of school.   They had a water fun day the last day of school.  Jodie and I made smoothies for the kids and then the kids got to run around their playground playing with sprinklers and water.

 It was a nice way to wish everyone a good summer :)

 We've had LOTS of storms this month but have been fortunate not to have any damages.

 Adrien is enjoying the pool again.  We enjoyed swimming all during labor day weekend.   He started getting comfortable and going under water to retrieve submarines and started swimming without his floaties again.  I still put them on him when I'm not with him in the pool though just to be safe but I am happy to see him enjoy the water so much.

 Christophe and I celebrated our 7th anniversary yesterday evening.  Amber was sweet to come and babysit .  It was wonderful to enjoy a romantic dinner.  We went to Reata's on the rooftop in dowtown Ft Worth and had a lovely meal and wonderful evening !  It was just perfect... SO RELAXING !  Thank you Debi for mentioning this place- We really enjoyed it !

 I'm so happy to be married to such a wonderful husband !  I love how much fun these past years have been and how the hard times have made stronger and brought us even closer.  We are both so excited about our future and feel grateful for each day !!

A Wonderful Mother's Day

We had such a lay-back, relaxing sunday for mother's day :) Chris got back from his trip on Saturday morning  so we were all happy to be together ! 

We took a long walk at the Ft Worth Botanical gardens, and visited the Japanese gardens there.  It's very peaceful and we really enjoyed it !

 Adrien and Christophe were so excited to watch the game - the Mavericks were playing and played so well - I kept hearing them yell at the same time : " YES - GO GO GO" - " YAY !! "  it was really cute .

and then Adrien and I went for a swim.  the water is not heated -it's a chilly 74 degrees but since it was such a hot afternoon, I  caved in and went in with him- we had a great time !

Christophe cooked up a great dinner on the grill for us and we all enjoyed each other !  The best surprise at the end of the day was a sweet little kick from the baby ... just PERFECT :)

 I can't believe how much my life has changed since I've become a mother.  Adrien has given me so much and is such a wonderful sweet big boy!  I look at him and my heart fills with love, pride and happiness.  I could kiss him non stop .... luckily I refrain myself ;)  Being a mom is hard work, no doubt about it, but it is so rewarding and probably the most fulfilling thing I will ever achieve.  I'm ready for the upcoming challenges and grateful for this wonderful life where I get to spend quality time with our sweet  baby boy, our Duff, and my husband  . . .  and in a few months our newest little baby too.

you had a chance to set a healthy example with/for your child

so he/she can become social, athletic and friendly :)


I am SO LUCKY  I get to experience this on a daily basis with my amazing Stroller Strides group.  And on this Mother's day , I can't help but feel so grateful for all the love, support, and joy I've felt since I joined the group.  I am inspired by many different women who all cherish motherhood and health.  We're all different and yet share a common strength and determination to enjoy life to its fullest,  bond with our kids and feel healthy, fit and happy.


This week we had a party week to welcome Cindy - the new owner of Stroller Strides of Arlington, Mansfield, and Hurst and say goodbye to our amazing Maggie.  We offered free classes and got to meet a lot of new moms at each location.  It was a fun filled week and definitely encouraged me to keep on sharing our love for fitness and motherhood.  I was also very happy to read positive comments on a few blogs.  Here are two links of what moms thought of their Stroller Strides classes,  I hope to see them again soon :)
