relaxing weekend :)

 We had a great time celebrating the 4th anniversary of Stroller Strides on Saturday :)  It was so much fun and it was nice to have Christophe and a few other dads there as well !

 Then we came home and had a fun afternoon in the pool !!

 Adrien loves to play with his papa :) It was nice to all relax together.  We took a little break from working on the room on Saturday but chris worked on it again on Sunday.  We should be done this weekend :)

first week back home

 Adrien had a blast in France but was happy to go home to see Duff and all his dear friends.  He enjoyed flying solo at the airport in Nice .

 We picked up Duff right away on Saturday afternoon-  Adrien was super excited to see him.  We had to talk the trainer and practice walking with him .

 On Monday I started teaching at Stroller Strides again - it was nice to be back :)  This week I had to get used to the heat again 105 F is HOT :)

 We were having fun planking in the garden - Adrien loves to "exer-ize" too :)

 We started the work in Adrien's big boy room - he's excited to get the playroom as his new room.  We decided to completely gut out the closet and reorganize it to optimize storage.  Christophe worked on it ALL weekend and will finish next weekend.  Adrien had to bring some of his tools and help his papa cheri :)

 They really do make a good team together :)

 Just so Christophe could work without interrruption, Adrien hung out - we played in the pool together and also had fun at his buddy Erik's birthday at little gym.

 we tried to go to the park this week - Adrien likes to climb and could have stayed all day but I'm not sure if it's because I'm 7 month pregnant but I can't stay in the heat as much as I used to anymore.

Cannes - week 2

Adrien really loved riding the carousel during our vacation - he tried all his favorite rides: trains, trucks, and motorcycle !  So much fun to see him squeal of delight, waving to us at each turn and blowing kisses :)

He tasted his first "chocolat liegoix"  (chocolate ice cream, chocolate sauce, whip cream and toasted almonds .... mmmhh!)  He loved it !

Chris and Adrien had such a blast in the pool

We went twice  to the beach  and Adrien loved it !  He was 18months old the last time we went so he discovered the waves .  At first he was cautious but he quickly loosened up :) His favorite things were to kick the waves, jump at each wave and play with the sand.

He really loved it and so did we !  We all got to relax and enjoy the soothing sound of the ocean.  What a nice treat !!

Life is GOOD !!

Adrien got to see his other cousin LEA who lives in Amsterdam and came for 2 days to visit.

She loves taking pictures and was pretty good at it too !

Chris got to enjoy the ocean and relax.  He works so hard - I'm glad he got to take a little break from it all.

After a wonderful day at the beach, Papy and Mamie treated us all to a wonderful dinner - they had reserved a chef for that evening who cooked a delicious meal in their home.  It was a great evening ! We got to all chat and Christophe's mom was able to also enjoy the evening which made it even more special.

We had a such wonderful stay...  such nice memories! Some of Adrien's favorite moments were:  kicking the waves, feeding the little fishes, eating ice cream on the "croisette", playing with his daddy in the pool,  and of course spending quality time with Papy and Mamie: calling everyone to the table for breakfast :"a table ",  eating delicious meals,  and really enjoying each other's company   :) 

 We often wish we lived closer to both our parents but we're thankful for the time we do get to have with them!  It makes it that more special !
