Adrien & Company

Adrien was so proud to have his cousins and his aunt Lara for a few days. They were all so sweet to fly here from Orlando to visit us for a few days. We had a wonderful time and loved hanging out together. We went to our favorite yogurt place, hung out by the pool, went on Adrien's favorite train ride in Ft Worth, visited the Dallas Aquarium & Ft Worth Museum of Science and History, . . . they even all came to one of my Stroller Strides class ! FUN FUN FUN !! We will definitely cherish the memories ;) Thank you for coming !!!!

Adrien learned to jump from the diving board- it's now his favorite thing to do in the pool. check out the video at the bottom ;)

Live, Love and Laugh

Adrien and I went to the Levitt Pavilion to see the Mammoth Follies concert last week. We had so much with our Stroller Strides friends.
It's really the most simple things in life that bring you the most pleasure : a walk in the park, staying outside while it rains (no thunders don;t worry), dancing at home, running with your puppy, laughing at silly faces with your son, making funny characters with playdough. Whenever I want more (more as in another baby. . .) I always remind myself to stop, breathe and just enjoy the moment. It can be so fulfilling to just breathe in the happiness around you, you take it in, release any tension and become part of the happiness.

Christophe came back from his trip on Saturday morning just in time to celebrate 4th of July with us and attend our sweet friends 's birthday party : Patrick (1) and Carter (3)

free train rides ? Adrien was in heaven, he went 5 times on the train ! " Choo choo :) tout le monde a bord !" = " choo choo. All on board "

We were proud to put our flag on the house. It was our first year doing it and we'll do it every year from now on. Adrien liked the flag - we tried to explain what we celebrated and why we had fireworks - he answered:" ah !" - trying to understand . We'll try again next year ;) and in a few days on the 14th for France's independance day.

Christophe and I arrived in the States in the summer of 1995, I was 17 and excited about starting university on a tennis scholarship in South Florida, and Christophe was doing an internship in Nashville (where he fell in love with Country music and cowboy boots ).

We feel so lucky to live here and are thankful for all the opportunities we 've had. We were both supposed to only stay in the States for a few years but we fell in love with the Land of Opportunity and Freedom, and luckily we also fell in love with each other a few years later... Today as take a look at our journey, we feel grateful for each experience. We were fortunate enough to meet wonderdul friends over the years who have become our second family here in the States.

We wish all our family and friends all the best and most of all: love, health, and happiness.
