Celebrating Stella's arrival

My belly is getting bigger... ok HUGE :) and we're already  half way through the last trimester.  I felt so loved this weekend.  My amazing friends threw me the best ever baby shower !  Debi welcomed everyone at her beautiful house and with the help of Czarina, Elizabeth, Lisa,Amber and Marissa , they joined in together to prepare a wonderful afternoon of delightful dishes, delicious deserts, fun and entertaining games.  It was simply PERFECT and so THOUGHTFUL ! Thank you all for this wonderful afternoon.  We are lucky to have a family of friends right here in Texas!

Adrien has been asking about Stella a lot.  That day he asked if I could show him how to hold the baby.  I showed him how to protect the head and he wanted me to take a picture :) What a sweet big brother !  Then he hesitated and asked me what would happen if she" poops" but I reassured him she would have a diaper.  He was reassured by the answer and continued rocking the baby doll smiling.  

Yesterday he told me that when Stella comes out of my belly (not sure how he got to that conclusion ) he would run and catch her .  It was so cute to see him run around the room and then pretending to catch his baby sister.  He seems very ready to meet Stella.  We really are all getting super excited !

Stella seems happy too and on Monday she was moving all around during the ultra sound but we caught a glimpse of her profile :) Can't wait to meet you sweet baby girl !!!

Adrien's first day back to school !

Can't believe the summer flew by SO FAST ! My sweet little man is already starting school again.  He's in preprimary this year at Montessori and will be with 4-5-6 years old which will be fun so he can learn from his peers.  He will go to school Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the whole day between 8:30-3:30pm.

I just dropped him off and was so proud of my big boy.  He was excited to go to school again.  We walked around the classroom and checked out all the animals a hamster, fishes, lizard and one more animal that was hiding so we could not tell what it was ;).  Adrien was all excited- he loves animals and told me:"maman, they're my new friends" :)

Then he chose a "work" and sat on the table.  I said goodbye and took one last picture :)

I sure am going to miss my little sunshine! When I came home, Duff started looking everywhere around the house for Adrien.  We both have to get used to the new routine.  I am happy he's in a good school where he feels secure, happy, cared for, and gets excited about learning !  
Now I have a little time to get organized and make sure everything is clean, ready and set for our sweet Stella.
