Adrien's room

Here are a few pictures of Adrien's bedroom - we promised Papy, Mamie, Ninne and Titou to post a few pictures :)  Christophe and Adrien worked together to add the last little things and Adrien LOVES his new room.

Next week the carpet will be installed in Stella's room and Adrien's room, then Chris will build the large closet we ordered for Stella's room, . . . then comes the fun part of putting up all the decorations and making the room cozy and inviting for our sweet Stella.

I've been having to rest to make sure my fluids are at a good level and I've seen the doctor twice a week the last 2 weeks to check on Stella's growth & development.  Finally on Friday I went to a special sonogram place and the doctor reassured us that everything is going smoothly and Stella seemed like a healthy baby in there :) YAY ! A big sigh of relief ~~  Now I can relax a little and enjoy getting everything ready for the last few weeks that are left.  The doctor did mention he could see hair on the ulr sound, which made me laugh, I had imagined she would come out bold just like our little man did.  I really can't wait to meet her !!

fun week and a relaxing labor day weekend

I've been busy getting everything ready for Stella's room and organizing the house....definitely nesting :)  but not taking a lot of pictures ... Sorry:)     


Christophe has been amazing and after work he spends time working on the paint in Stella's room.  Last week Adrien and Chris had a boys' night and I got to hang out with the girls :) We went out for sushi and then went to see the musical "Motherhood" .  It was so much fun ! I'm grateful for so many great friends and great experiences in my life!  We're all evolving and growing and there are so many different facets of motherhood, it was nice to laugh at all of it and rejoice in what we have.

Adrien having fun riding before we went grocery shopping.  I'm so happy to have Tuesdays and Thursdays with him.  We really enjoy each other, play together , he's so much fun to be around and a wonderful helper !

 This weekend was so relaxing.  Adrien had 2 PJ days :) where he stayed in his pjs all day, he kept saying "what an awesome day! " at the end of each day so Chris and I know he enjoyed spending quality time with us.  He build "houses" with cardboxes , pillows and sheets

                          

We went shopping on Saturday to Buy Buy Baby to get a few things for Stella.  Adrien was really excited to know that she would have her own car seat next to him in the car.

 He pretended Stella was in the car seat and was talking to her and trying to entertain her...it was pretty cute :) He was using a soft voice and then took the car seat on a little walk.  I know he will be a sweet and wonderful big brother !

Christophe bought a few decorations for Adrien 's room and put them all up with him on Saturday.  Adrien loves his room and was super excited!  I forgot to take pictures :) but will post some next week.


 We had the best weather this weekend!! the temperatures FINALLY lowered and we were able to be outside most of the weekend.  We've been opening our windows and even were able to eat outside ! IT was perfect for our lazy weekend at home :)

 Adrien rediscovered his sandbox and had fun playing there for  a long time.  He also helped his dad fix a few things around the yard :) They make such a cute team !

I've had to make an effort to take it easy and relax because I am low again on my amniotic fluids and this weekend was just perfect , we relaxed and enjoyed each other 's company .  I love my family  and could not feel any happier!
