our christmas family vacation started last Friday afternoon, Stella and I went to see Adrien build his little gingerbread house at school. We were very proud of him and it was fun to see him with his friends from school.

On Saturday we enjoyed taking a long walk with papa and Duff.
The weather was perfect, sunny and cool, and we got to check out all the decorations around our community. It's always fun to stop every few blocks to say hi to neighbors and chat a little.

Stella all cuddled up in the stroller, we actually just took off the crib part of the bugaboo stroller and letting her sit like a big girl in the stroller now... she's getting so big so FAST !!
Our sweet friends the Donahos hosted the Luna Mom's Club christmas party this year, Adrien, Stella and I were excited to attend and see all our old friends. Santa came to visit (thank you so much for such a treat Debi !!!)

Adrien ran from outside as soon as he heard " papa noel " was there. Stella had fallen asleep so I asked Santa if he could her too . He was so sweet, Adrien loved chatting with him about Christmas , it was lots of fun to see the excitement in his eyes !!

Stella in her car seat, happy to go see christmas lights :) ... ok so actually after a few minutes in the car she starting crying, she usually nurses quite a bit at night so she did not understand why we were all in the car that night. I ended up in the back seat to feed her, and we all enjoyed checking out the christmas lights around our neighborhood. Fun !
Had to show how chunky our sweet baby girl is getting, I just want to devour her with kisses ... ok I totally do it everytime I change her ;)
On friday night and saturday morning, I baked a coconut pound cake, oatmeal chocolate cookies and christmas cookies for our neighbors. Adrien and I put our santa hats on and delivered them chanting:"ho ho ho" in the streets. So much fun !
Adrien was proud of the chirstmas cookies he decorated, we kept his to give to Santa.
On christmas eve day, Adrien and Chris prepared a delicious chocolate cake together
and Stella and I prepared the main dish : a truffle risotto

Christmas morning - Adrien was so excited - he called us from the top of the stairs :" papa noel came -maman, papa, come and see - come and see " - He even opened Duff's gifts

I did not take a lot of pictures on christmas day, but we will always cherish the wonderful memories of our special day together - the first one we spent as a family of four in our home with Duffy. It was full of love, laughter and cuddles. I feel so lucky and happy to have such a sweet family. My heart is full ! We hope all our loved ones had a merry christmas as well !
