April Fun : poisson d'avril, sand box, first BBQ !

Friday April 1st was fun for ADrien and I - we took the time the day before to draw fishes, decorate them and cut them off so we would be ready for April Fool's day.  It's a tradition in France to stick "poissons d' avril" on the back of people as a little prank.  Adrien was so excited to do it to Christophe in the morning !  It was cute !  We also did it with all our friends at Stroller Strides.  

 Adrien asked me to take a picture of him and then wanted to take one with his buddy Duff.  They're inseparable these days.  It's pretty cute !

 We had our first BBQ at home on Friday evening.  Adrien was excited - he had to help his papa and grill on his side too :)

 As we were talking during dinner, we heard little birds and realized they were over our heads,  we found a little nest on top of our pergola, and took a few pics carefully ...we did not want to disturb them...the little birds were so cute :)  I guess we'll have to wait until they're ready to leave the nest to pull  the drape over the pergola .

 Adrien really enjoys swinging... he's starting to enjoy kicking with his legs to do it by himself...

 Duff always lays down in the bottom house while Adrien swings or plays in the top house.

 Christophe was awesome and built this sandbox for Adrien on Saturday.  He worked hard and built it with Adrien. I had to go to a baby shower and the boys were so happy and proud of all the work they accomplished together !  When I put Adrien to bed that night , he said " Maman, papa is AWESOME" and he thanked us for his sandbox many times.  He's super happy to have it.
